In addition to his work with the Grateful Dead, Jerry Garcia gigged frequently
with his own band. By 1980 it featured Garcia on guitar, with David Ozzie
Ahlers on keyboards, John Kahn on bass and Johnny D'Fonseca on drums.
This superb set was broadcast on WLIR-FM, and finds the great man stretching
out on an unusual selection of material that's sure to delight his legion
of admirers.
